WHAT IS MELASMA?


Melasma is a common skin condition that causes brown or grayish-brown patches to form on the skin. These patches typically occur on the face, particularly on the cheeks, forehead, chin, nose, and above the upper lip.


Melasma is caused by the overproduction of pigment in the skin, which can be triggered by a variety of factors such as hormonal changes, sun exposure, and genetics.
