UNDER EYE CIRCLE TREATMENT

Under-eye circles are often caused by a loss of volume or hollowness under the eyes, along with pigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles. Botox and fillers are two popular treatment options for under-eye circles and can be used alone or in combination for optimal results.

Botox can be used to soften fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, such as crow's feet, while fillers can be used to add volume and fill in hollow areas under the eyes. Hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Restylane and Juvederm, are commonly used for under-eye circles as they are safe, long-lasting, and provide natural-looking results.

The procedure involves injecting Botox and/or filler in small amounts around the under-eye area to achieve the desired look. Depending on the patient's individual needs, a combination of Botox and filler may be used to address various concerns.

Botox and filler treatments are generally safe and effective when administered by a qualified and experienced provider. However, it is important to note that there may be potential side effects, such as swelling, bruising, or infection. It is also important to follow your provider's aftercare instructions for optimal results.

AFTER CARE

After getting under-eye Botox and filler treatments, it is important to follow your provider's instructions for aftercare to ensure optimal results and minimize any potential side effects. Here are some general aftercare guidelines:

  • Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for at least 24 hours.

  • Apply ice or a cold compress to the treated area to help reduce swelling and bruising. You can do this for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, several times a day for the first 48 hours.

  • Avoid any vigorous activity or exercise that may increase blood flow to the area for at least 24 hours.

  • Sleep on your back with your head elevated for the first few days.

  • Avoid any makeup or skincare products in the treated area for at least 24 hours.

  • Follow up with your provider if you experience any unusual symptoms or side effects, such as excessive swelling, pain, or fever.

If you are considering Botox and filler treatments for under-eye circles, it is recommended to schedule a consultation with a qualified provider to determine the best treatment plan for your individual needs.
