NON SURGICAL NOSE JOB

A non-surgical nose job, also known as a liquid rhinoplasty, is a cosmetic procedure that involves using dermal fillers such as hyaluronic acid to reshape and contour the nose without surgery. It is an alternative to traditional rhinoplasty surgery, which involves breaking and reshaping the nasal bones.

During the procedure, the filler is injected in small amounts under the skin in the targeted areas of the nose. The filler is used to smooth out bumps, make the nose bridge look straight and symmetrical, lift up the nasal tip, and add volume. The procedure is done with local anesthesia, and usually takes around 15-30 minutes.

The benefits of a non-surgical nose job include little to no downtime, minimal pain during and after the procedure, and immediate results that can last up to two years. However, it is important to note that the results are temporary and the procedure needs to be repeated periodically to maintain the desired effect.

As with any cosmetic procedure, a non-surgical nose job comes with potential risks and side effects, including bruising, swelling, and infection. It is important to consult with a qualified and experienced injector and discuss the risks and benefits before making a decision.

AFTER CARE

After getting a non-surgical nose job with filler, it is important to follow your injector's instructions for aftercare to ensure the best results and to minimize any potential side effects. Here are some general aftercare guidelines for a non-surgical nose job with filler:

  • Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area for at least 24 hours.

  • Apply ice or a cold compress to the treated area to help reduce swelling and discomfort. You can do this for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, several times a day for the first 48 hours.

  • Avoid wearing glasses, sunglasses, or any headwear that puts pressure on the nose for at least two weeks.

  • Avoid any vigorous activity or exercise that may increase blood flow to the area for at least 24 hours.

  • Avoid hot liquids and foods, spicy foods, and alcohol for the first 24 hours.

  • Sleep on your back with your head elevated for the first few days.

  • Follow up with your injector if you experience any unusual symptoms or side effects, such as excessive swelling, pain, or fever.

Remember that each person may have different aftercare instructions based on their individual needs and the type of filler used. It is important to follow your injector's specific aftercare instructions for the best results.
